About Me
I’ve spent my career inspired by the strength and resilience of children, especially those in foster care and those being raised by caregivers who stepped in with love to parent children who are not biologically their own. I understand deeply that the earliest years of a child’s life, especially birth to five, shape their entire world. Their brains are growing rapidly, their sense of safety is forming, and caregivers play a powerful role in building lasting bonds that help them thrive. As a parent raising children in a culturally blended family, I’ve had to learn how to coparent respectfully, support a loved one through the impact of parental alienation, and navigate the many systems that families often face.
I’ve also walked the journey of supporting a child with mental health concerns and the overwhelming maze of stress and worries that comes with it. The sleepless nights, the tears no one else sees, wondering where you went wrong, feeling ashamed, thinking ‘it's too much to bear’, and isolating yourself or not telling your loved ones because you feel all alone. These experiences guide my approach: nonjudgmental, collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in the belief that you are the expert of your life. You’re reaching out for a reason, and I want you to feel safe being completely open with me. My motto is “We will figure things out together.” I care deeply about the families I work with, and my goal is to help you and your child strengthen your connection, overcome obstacles, and find support that truly fits your family’s needs.
My mission is to provide compassionate, relationship-focused therapy that helps children heal at their core and supports caregivers in reconnecting and strengthening their bond through meaningful play and emotional support.
"It is in playing, and only in playing, that the individual child or adult is able to be creative and to use the whole personality, and it is only in being creative that the individual discovers the self."
