Where Play Becomes a Path to Healing

What is Play Therapy?

Child-Centered Play Therapy offers children ages 3–10 a safe, accepting space where they can express themselves through play at their own pace. In this approach, play is viewed as a child’s natural language, and the therapist follows the child’s lead rather than directing the session.Child-Centered Play Therapy offers children ages 3–10 a safe, accepting space where they can express themselves through play at their own pace. Outcomes

Over time, child-centered play therapy can help children improve emotional regulation, increase self-esteem, develop healthier ways to express feelings, and strengthen relationships with caregivers and others in their lives.

What to expect

During sessions, children choose how they play using carefully selected toys and materials. Through this process, children are able to explore feelings, experiences, and challenges in a way that feels safe and empowering. The therapist provides consistent support, understanding, and emotional safety, helping children build confidence, self-awareness, and inner strength.

Your help is necessary

Regular parent consultation sessions help caregivers better understand their child’s needs and support growth beyond the playroom.

And Lastly,

Sessions are recommended to occur weekly at the same day and time, lasting between 45–55 minutes. Consistent scheduling helps create predictability and emotional safety, allowing children to know what to expect and fully engage in the play therapy process.
